Brand development
Care Net of Puget Sound

Esteemed pregnancy services organization renovates brand and web presence to stay connected to target audience.

The Challenge

Care Net of Puget Sound helps those facing unplanned pregnancies, teens and young adults making choices about sexual integrity and individuals seeking support for pregnancy loss and abortion recovery. They serve young women and families through Care Net’s six centers located in Federal Way, Gig Harbor, Kenmore, Lakewood, Puyallup and Tacoma.

Care Net has two distinct audiences- clients and donors- each with very different calls to action. Historically, their messaging and websites have been kept separate, creating a disconnect between what happens in clinic locations with clients and what donors were giving to. Having two websites inconsistent with Care Net’s goals for both audiences, and it was also an incredible amount of extra work for their marketing department of one.

What we did

Upon careful review, VSG proposed a new website structure that would allow the client and partner side to coexist on the same URL and a design strategy to reinvigorate the Care Net look, creating consistency for both of their unique audiences. Knowing that clients need to find the fastest route to book an appointment and donors need the fastest route to get involved, we got to work.

In collaboration with the Care Net Puget Sound team, we evaluated and consolidated the website content which allowed us to execute a new website structure. Once we had an outline, our designers dove in to refreshing the Care Net logo, color palette and imagery to create depth and context for each of their audiences. We also paid careful attention to the points of contact on the site. Intuitive forms were created, making the scheduling of appointments and volunteer opportunities crystal clear and user friendly. Care Net Puget Sound now has a central hub that both of it’s audiences can easily navigate and the marketing department has a whole lot less to worry about.
